* Adobe Photoshop CS3: A Whole New World For Photographers and Digital Photographers is written by Kristin Feireiss, who worked on the software as a product editor until she left the company in 2008. In this book, she dives into the intricacies of Photoshop’s changes to the way it works. The book is a little hard to understand for non-photographers but can provide a clearer picture of Photoshop.
* Photoshop CS3 Step-by-Step is a six-part e-book tutorial series by Rachael Estes, the author of this book. She provides a clear overview of Photoshop’s functionality. As a reviewer, I recommend that you read her book because she explains the changes to the interface and explains why those changes were made.
* Adobe Photoshop CS4 for Digital Photographers: Multimedia and Imagery Techniques is written by David Joyce. This book isn’t specific to digital photography, but it provides a good overview of the features in Photoshop. It also includes a DVD that includes numerous tutorials that are available on the CD.
* Adobe Photoshop CS5: The Missing Manual is written by the MPS team and is their go-to book for beginners. It is very basic and helps users get acquainted with the features. I suggest that you use it as your first book.
* Photoshop Elements 8: The Missing Manual is written by David Sparks and David Sandberg, and it’s written for photographers who want a book that explains the interface, but don’t want to take it too far. This book is a little hard to follow for first-time users of Photoshop, but it covers the basics of the interface and some of the tools that are in Photoshop.
* Photoshop CS5 From the Inside Out: A Quick Tour of CS5 is a book that was specifically created to provide a quick guide for photographers who have not used Photoshop in a while. The book covers the interface and the features of the current version of Photoshop.
* Adobe Photoshop CS6: The Missing Manual is written by Rachael Estes, and it covers everything from the interface to image and layer editing. The book presents the basics of the program to help you understand Photoshop and learn how to use it.
* Photoshop Elements 9: The Missing Manual is written by Joni Leffler and David Sparks. This book is similar to the Elements 8 book that I mentioned above.

Adobe Photoshop Elements boasts the functions of traditional Photoshop, letting you edit photographs and create beautiful photos with ease.

So, now you know the difference between Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. Let us dive into the how to edit photos in Photoshop Elements and share some tips and tricks you can follow to enhance your photos with Photoshop Elements.

The six main steps for designing in Photoshop

First, you must learn the basic 6-steps process of designing in Photoshop.

1. Learn to combine several images or layers

As a basic skill in Photoshop, merging multiple layers together is a fundamental technique that can be used to create some impressive images.

Without any merging of layers, your images can look a bit boring and amateurish. So, to create great visuals, you need to learn to merge images to make them look beautiful.

With a very limited number of layers, this process is relatively straightforward. However, once you start adding more and more layers, the process becomes increasingly complicated.

You should always make a backup of your files, or else you may be left in a situation where you can’t access your image.

After learning to merge layers in Photoshop, you must try to create layers for different parts of the composition. To make this possible, organize your design files into layers.

You can do this manually as you create layers or use the Layers panel, which is located in the Utilities panel.

By default, the Layers panel is set to display all the active layers in your design. To view the layers in order, make sure to click the down-arrow button on the Layers panel to expand the area. By default, this expands the Layers panel to show all the active layers in your design.

2. Understand the Import and Output options

Photoshop has two main functions: image export and image import.

These are similar to the Save and Load functions in traditional image editors.

This function lets you import images into Photoshop from your hard drive or from Google images. You can import some useful files like JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, TIF, PSD, PDF and EPS.

You can read more about importing files in Photoshop here.

If you want to create your image in Photoshop, you must export it in some way. So, here is the main difference between Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. You can export your images in
