Step 1. How to Edit a Picture
Open your images and then go to File > Open. This will open up a dialog box as shown in the following screenshot.
You can drag an image into Photoshop either from a folder or by double clicking on the image on your desktop.
Step 2. Organizing your images in a folder
If your images are not already organized in a folder, use Adobe Bridge to do it for you. Go to File > Bridge > Import > Organize > File Handling.
Your work folder should be set to open automatically.
Step 3. Using Bridge to import images
The photos you want to use will be visible on the desktop. If that is the case, drag them into Photoshop using the path shown in the following screenshot:

Step 4. Creating your document
In the workspace, click File > New to create a new document of the size you want, and then click OK.
Step 5. How to preview your images
Click File > Document Setup to open the Document Setup dialog box as shown in the following screenshot.
Under the Image Sizing tab, the size is at 16×16 pixels.
Click OK.
Step 6. Using crop tools to select areas in your images
Click the Crop Tool and then click anywhere in the image. The Crop tool will allow you to see a preview of your image from a variety of view options. Click the Add Border button to add a border of any color you want.
Click the Remove Border button to remove a border.
